A newly published translation of the Gospels from the original Syriac Aramaic by the American born theologian Dr. Johnny Lovewisdom titled The Buddhist Essene Gospel of Jesus shows the message of Christ was one of compassion and mercy rather than a gruesome sacrificial slaughterhouse crucifixion which magically cancels all our past sins.

The idea that a sacrificial crucifixion could some how appease God for our wrong doings is an undeveloped even savage idea. Chickens, goats and pigs etc. are routinely sacrificed in tribal ethnic religions in a barbaric shedding of blood for the remission of sins.

Sins or errors are changed by not doing them and doing the right thing and must be done by the individual and not by someone else. The real message of Christ is a message of forgiveness and recognition of our past mistakes, with the positive conviction that we can always do better if we stop our errors and change our ways.

Jesus crucified on the cross is being substituted for the sacrificial lamb. It's the same principal: shedding the blood of one being so others don't have to suffer the consequences of their own actions. Each individual suffers from their own sins (missing the mark or errors in aiming and execution). No one can take on another's crime if committed, you alone go to jail if you commit a crime.

In this new translation from the original Syriac Aramaic Peshitta canon the blood that is shed is not human but rather grape blood or juice which purifies the blood, cleansing away our impurity in body and mind. No more is needed the shedding of another man's blood for the purification of the errors of the rest of mankind.

Now the only blood shed is the juice of the grape which detoxifies our own bloodstreams creating a new purified creature in body and mind as it was in the beginning in our pristine beginnings in the original paradise; a re-born being not merely in a newly found faith but rather quite tangibly and physiologically.

Fasting on grape or other fruit juice combined with prayer and a purifying diet is the ancient high technology of spiritual enlightenment.

This is different than the church's idea of bread and wine as the new bloodless sacrifice. The scriptures were mistranslated to allow the use of grain for bread and fermented alcoholic wine rather than the fresh grape juice and carob, dates and figs which Christ actually used.

Yet who was really crucified on the cross? Jesus Barabbas was another Jesus who the gospels say carried the cross for Jesus. The Koran, the holy scripture of Islam, says that Jesus was not crucified, rather someone else was substituted in his place.

Yet who was Barabbas and why did he carry the cross? Barabbas the bible states was a criminal and known to be a terrorist instigator trying to overthrow the Roman occupation of Israel. The Buddhist Essene Gospel of Jesus shows that a great plot was planned by Barabbas and Judus to incriminate John which backfired.

The Abbot of Tengboche monastery, Ngawang Tenzing Jangpo, is the most revered monk in Khumbu, Nepal.

He has lived there for more than 30 years and witnessed floods from lakes bursting with glacial meltwater. This is his firsthand account of the effects of climate change.

The temperature of the earth is rising. It is not natural.
People are becoming materialistic and don't care.

Climbing Everest has become a fashion. All people want to do is reach the top. And you can see for yourself that climbing Everest has become so easy today. I hear they can do it in eight hours!

This is because there is less snow. The glaciers are shrinking rapidly.
The Sherpas of Khumbu may not know everything, but they are suffering the consequences of the people's greed. We mountain people should be careful and take precautions.

It is high time that Nepalese started to depend less on foreigners. Why do we need foreigners to come here and tell us that our glaciers are melting?

The solution for the people in the Himalayas is not to move down to the cities. They will have more problems there. Kathmandu already has a water shortage problem.

If we don't save Khumbu today our fresh water will dry up and the problem will be impossible to solve in the future.

We cannot remain indifferent to each other's problems.

Isn't man an amazing animal? He kills wildlife -- birds, kangaroos, deer, all kinds of cats, coyotes, beavers, groundhogs, mice and foxes -- by the million in order to protect his domestic animals and their feed. Then he kills domestic animals by the billions and eats them. This in turn kills man by the millions, because eating all those animals leads to degenerative -- and fatal -- health conditions like heart disease, kidney disease and cancer. So then man tortures and kills millions more animals to look for cures for these diseases. Elsewhere, millions of other human beings are being killed by hunger and malnutrition because food they could eat is being used to fatten domestic animals. Meanwhile, some people are dying of sad laughter at the absurdity of man, who kills so easily and so violently, and once a year sends out cards praying for "Peace on Earth." This new BLOG will be a place to write your thoughts on the newly published book The Buddhist Essene Gospel of Jesus by Dr. Johnny Lovewisdom. Also welcome are any comments on the diet of Jesus, the dietary transition, raw-vegan-vegetarian-fruitarian diet, raw vegetable and fruit juices (i.e. grape juice etc.), Gnosticism, Essenes, Buddhists, the spiritual path, climate change, ecological crisis, back to the land, building your own paradise, soil mineralization, tropical-subtropical climates etc. etc. etc.

BLOG is a funny word. Kind of like BLOB, the plasmic amoebic monster in the 60's. Anyway BLOGS are a cultural phenomenon. They are like bulletin boards but are more formal and are better looking having the appearance of a newspaper or magazine article. Thus people spend more time in writing their magazine article-like pieces. Everyone becomes a journalist with their opinion counting in the global soup.
